Green-it-Up! was created to raise awareness of climate change through active participation and environmental education aimed at young people and the school community. The initiative involved students, teachers, and educational communities in activities such as citizen science, co-design, and training.
PUSH coordinated educators across more than 20 high schools in Italy. Students designed environmental protection actions following a process based on design thinking and experiential learning, including online exchanges and a final contest that enabled the implementation of some of the proposed actions.
In parallel, PUSH coordinated teachers in the co-design of the National Forum on Civic Education, consolidating a national network of educators committed to sustainability.
